Who we are

This site is operated by Julie Firth, a sole-trader EYFS consultant based in the North West of England, working nationwide. Julie is the data controller for any personal data collected through this website. You can contact Julie at julie@juliefirthconsulting.co.uk or on 07368 386 170.

What we collect

When you use the contact form on this website, we collect the information you choose to provide:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your setting name (optional)
• The service you're interested in (optional)
• The message you write

We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking. The site does not run third-party analytics or tracking scripts.

Why we collect it

We use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry and discuss the services you've asked about. Our lawful basis for processing this data is legitimate interest under UK GDPR - specifically, replying to a direct enquiry you have initiated.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. To deliver enquiries from the website to Julie's inbox, we use the following service providers as data processors:

• Kickstone Forms Forwarder - the small service operated by Kickstone Ltd that receives your form submission and forwards it as an email.
• Resend (resend.com) - the email delivery provider used to send the enquiry email. Resend is GDPR-compliant and based in the United States with appropriate data-transfer safeguards.
• Vercel (vercel.com) - the hosting provider for this website and the forwarder service.

These providers process the data only to deliver your enquiry to Julie. They do not use it for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Enquiries received by email are retained for up to 24 months from the last contact, then deleted, unless we have started working together - in which case data is retained for as long as is necessary to deliver and account for that work, plus any statutory record-keeping period afterwards.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data (where there is no overriding obligation to retain it)
• Object to processing on the basis of legitimate interest

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal data, please get in touch with us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office, at ico.org.uk.

We may update this privacy notice from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be reflected here.
